1. Information We Collect (Google OAuth & Social Login)

This Privacy Policy describes how AI Studio ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our WordPress plugin and related services. When you choose to register or log in to AI Studio using Google OAuth or other supported social login providers, we collect and store only the essential information required to provision and secure your account. This includes your full name, primary email address, and profile picture URL. AI Studio strictly adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not request, access, or store your Google Drive files, Google Contacts, or any other sensitive scopes. The data retrieved is utilized exclusively for user authentication and account identification on our platform. We deploy industry-standard AES-256 encryption to protect your OAuth tokens at rest, and all API transmissions occur over secure TLS 1.3 connections. Furthermore, any data obtained via Google APIs is never used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI models. Your data remains strictly isolated to your individual account context.

2. How We Use Your Data & BYOK Architecture

• Authentication & Security: To securely authenticate your account via Google OAuth or direct login, ensuring no unauthorized access to your billing or license dashboard. We monitor login attempts to prevent brute-force attacks and unauthorized account access.
• BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) Architecture: To process article generation locally on your WordPress server. Your server directly communicates with AI APIs.
• Zero-Retention API Policy: We NEVER store, transmit, or process your OpenAI, Anthropic, or third-party API keys on our central servers. All AI generation happens directly between your server and the respective AI providers.

3. Data Sharing & Account Deletion

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal data to any third parties under any circumstances. Data is only shared with essential sub-processors (such as Stripe for payments or AWS for secure hosting) under strict data processing agreements. You have the absolute, unconditional right to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated Google OAuth data at any time. By contacting our technical support team or using the deletion option in your account dashboard, you can trigger a permanent data purge. Upon request, all personally identifiable information, license keys, and OAuth tokens are permanently erased from our active databases within 30 days. We also comply fully with GDPR and CCPA regulations regarding your right to be forgotten.

4. Cookies and Usage Tracking

AI Studio checks our servers periodically solely to validate your license key and deliver OTA (Over-The-Air) updates. We use essential session cookies strictly necessary to maintain your logged-in state when accessing your license dashboard. We do not inject marketing or tracking cookies into your frontend website, nor do we track your website visitors. Furthermore, we do not track, log, or monitor the content you generate, the prompts you use, or your WooCommerce product data. Your business operations remain completely private and confidential. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, particularly regarding Google OAuth data handling, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice within the plugin dashboard.
